Did Snowden break the law? Yes. Is he a traitor? I don’t know. I think it depends on intent. Right now it seems he intended to inform the American people of a serious and clandestine attack on their civil rights by the govt. I don’t think that’s treason.
I don’t believe Snowden’s actions involved treason, either.
Many FReepers have decried that there is no one willing to stand-up and call-out the facts of this criminal administration operating from the White House that is intent on destroying the United States. Well, now we have one.
Jonathan Pollard definitely is a traitor. He spied for Israel. Some of the intelligence he stole ended up with the Peoples Republic of China. To me, in Pollard’s particular case, there is no doubt that the law was violated and treason occurred. Not so with Snowden.
Our government, it is claimed, now collects information on citizens to protect us. Bull****. Here are some facts: 98% of all terrorist acts over the past half-century were committed by Muslim men between the ages of 15 to 55.
We’re not screening for terrorists; BHO2 has ordered this from NSA for political reasons. He is using anti-terrorism as a smokescreen to destroy his political opponents and our liberties.
Our forefathers broke the law. They were considered traitors.
