Well, some folks see the Islamic terrorists as being the "true evil" here. Others, like Ron Paul, see our government as being the evil party and that the Islamic terrorists are just defending themselves against the Great Satan.
To me, it's pretty clear - the terrorists are the "true evil" here and our government, our intelligence services and our military are the instruments by which we as Americans protect ourselves from that "true evil."
Explain to me again, how the NSA monitoring DOMESTIC phone calls made by US Citizens with no connection to Islam is helping to keep me safe from terrorists.
They are true evil . So are you officially willing to go on record at FR stating that Ben Franklin was wrong about security vs. liberty and who deserves what?
