Newsflash. This is no longer a democrat or republican issue. If a person cannot defend to save their own privacy rights, you are under some elusion that your government is very productive and governing with integrity. They used info from the IRS against citizens.

Mr. Boehner and all of the others took a oath to uphold the constitution. Now, we seem to be a time to where we see it’s no longer right to do so. The powers-to-be just flaunt their abuses in front of us.

I have not heard one politician on TV say that they are upset that the American people were not told about this secret data collecting. Who wants to be spied on. It takes away your freedom Spying on citizens is un-American. Mr. Speaker and the others seem to think their agencies there just do a fine job as we see the government is too big, with no oversight making corruption even more embodied into the system.

What I believe that any violation of the 4th Amendment supersedes this illegitimate spying laws. I am grateful the man told us. I didn’t know they were doing this. I am so angry to hear people say, oh, you knew they were snooping. No, I did not, jerks.

When leakers told us things under Bush, they were referred to as whistleblowers. With Obama, they are traitors. So, proves to me many put their government first. It’s wrong to allow our liberties to be given away with any dissent.

This Speaker is Obama’s best friend.

This kind of stuff scares me because there is such a wide disconnect between the government and the people.

What Snowden has released so far has been common knowledge for years now and not classified as such. Specifics about sources and methods would lead to other levels of classification but from what I’ve seen those specifics have not been revealed. I’ve been using exactly this topic as a discussion point regarding large databases in my database classes for a number of years. Any terrorists would be idiots not to know and understand that the U.S. is tracking their communications. Hell! der Fuehrer and his propagandists have leaked more sensitive information just talking about tracking Bin Laden than this guy ever could.

The real question here is not are they feeding all of our calls and emails through processors; the real question that Snowden brings up is how far beyond the severe restrictions on using these tracking methods has this criminal administration gone? I believe that what Snowden has revealed is that they have thrown away the restrictions in order to snoop on and profile ordinary americans for political and control purposes. That is a problem!

When they “read” all of this data, they look for connections to known terrorist sources and analyze patterns for closer scrutiny. If they apply this to citizens and their connections to political groups like the Tea Party then they are (and they probably are) breaking the restrictions in the law.

For me, they probably have me in their metadata pool anyway since some of the muslim students I have had have allowed my email address to be tied into a couple of islamic sites. I block them but the links are still there. Another prominent source would be sites like this one where I regularly have bad things to say about der Fuehrer and his National Socialist Democrat Party.

So, to you guys out there; I know you’ve been watching/listening for years so you already know what I think of both islam and our administration. I don’t care if you know. Just keep doing the job of tracking potential and known terrorists WITHIN the restrictions of the law. Otherwise it may come back to bite you in the future.

Edward Snowden took an oath Speake Boehner. It goes like this:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter, so help me God.
You took that same oath, Mr. speaker.

So, the oath is not to "obay orders," the oath is not to "follow the President," the oath is to the Constitution, not only to defend it, but to bear true faith and allegiance to it.

The 4th amendment of the US Constitution states:

4th Amendment: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Where is the probable cause against each individual that warrants the taking and searching of every citizen's emails, their phone calls, their postings on the internet, or any other of "their persons, houses, papers, and effects"?

I tell you, there is not.

So, Mr. Speaker, who is ther traitor?

Is it the man who exposes government officials and agencies who are abjectly violating this part of the Constitution?

No, most certainly not!

Or, it is the people who are planning and carrying out these searches and violations? Or, the people who support them in the commission of the same?

The answer is clear..

Mr. Speaker, you and so many others have completely forgotten who you serve, and the oath that you took.

Somehow, you have gotten the notion in your plush, regualr golfing appotiments, and being attended to by as many pages and interns as you can get, that you are a breed above the rest of uis. That somehow you are more enlightened than the people you serve. Well, Mr. Speaker, you and the others are not.

Any person who looks at these facts...at what is actually happening here, and the oaths you all took (and that I have taken as well), can see clearly what is going on. You have been caught with your hand in the PRISM cookie jar clear up to the shoulder.

We have a government, and agencies of government who have been proven to abuse the rights of the people for their own political, material, and ideologicla gain. Wether the IRS scandal, the scandal of the government infringing these rights against member sof the press because they do not like their avenue of research, or now, this much larger scale issue of the data being gathered on virtually all citizens.

It is clear this data will be used against people. Either for taxation purposes, the providing of healthcare, the supression of free speech...and ultimately for the incarceration of people (indeed it is already happening all around us) simply because the people who hold the reigns of power want to supress the activities of those who do not agree with them, or who will not follow in lock-step to their wishes and decrees.

NOT IN AMERICA, Boehner! You and your ilk had best change and return to the confines of your offices, and serve the people who elect you rathe rthan seek to rule over us...or, we will find people who will, or ultimately you will see what the founders meant when they said,

"...when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their (the people's) right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Never allow yourself to believe that in this country, where our ancestors shed their blood to provide for the liberty of rising generations, that those words cannot apply to you and your ilk if you continue such usurpations and infringements.

You know you live in an era of Newspeak when the sobbing sack of crap who’s voting to legalize 20 million future big government loving brownshirts calls the guy who exposed a horrifying government overreach a traitor.

What kind of dirt does the NSA have on Boehner, I wonder?

The truth is that Boner is the real traitor. Just like all the liberal anti-Contitutional Dems, No-Nothingp-Do-Nothing, Repugs, the greedy Clintons, and anyone else who espouses the totalitarianism of the sick Obamatron spying regime.

"There are more important things than money. If I were motivated by money, I could have sold these documents to any number of countries and gotten very rich." * * * "The great fear that I have regarding the outcome for America of these disclosures is that nothing will change. [People] won't be willing to take the risks necessary to stand up and fight to change things... And in the months ahead, the years ahead, it's only going to get worse. [The NSA will] say that... because of the crisis, the dangers that we face in the world, some new and unpredicted threat, we need more authority, we need more power, and there will be nothing the people can do at that point to oppose it. And it will be turnkey tyranny."

I guess my fundamental rights to "free political speech" were summarily abrogated by the elections of Clinton-Bush-Obama ?

LOL !

After all’s been said and done about the NSA (you can bet the Big Sis too, the same thing) spying on its own citizens, I just can't wrap my mind imagining a Speaker Pelosi would say the same thing under a Repub president.

We are way past the awkward stage.

The question remains, will we accept the Soviet State now revealed to us and adjust to the ‘new normal’ - as the “cost” of living in this country?

IOW, do we willingly walk onto the boxcars for the camps they surely are creating for us - or do we do what is necessary to preserve what is left of our liberty and our lives??

If I had to guess, I would say it’s the former.

Until the beer and internet stops, most don’t give a shite.

Until it shows up on their doorstep.

Then it’s too late for them and theirs.

AND THIS IDIOT CALLS HIM A TRAITOR

John Boehner just sealed the deal: I am officially as hostile to the Republican Party as I am to the Democrats. Whatever lingering attachment I still had to the GOP is gone.

But then, I’m sure Uncle Sam already knew that.
