Just a thought. If secrets can be leaked, doesn’t that just mean that our security is inadequate? So, EVEN Manning, did a service by exposing the weakness in our security?

Good old Boner, slipping closer and closer to Obamas rear end.

Didn’t hear him complain when Biden gave away Seal Team 6. Later many of the men from the same team were killed in a helicopter “accident” in an incident that was way out of norm for the team.

Didn’t hear him complain when Panetta gave away our secrets to the people making a movie.

This guy hasn’t given away secrets, but confirms our worse fears about our government using a process that is way out of control.

“Good old Boner, slipping closer and closer to Obamas rear end.”

He’s kissed so much butt he doesn’t know whose butt he’s in anymore.

Somebody explain to me why I should vote Republican.

The difference between the two parties is negligible.

The Republican party should just close their doors.

Poppycock! He went to Hong Kong and is being offered asylum by Russia! Why didn't he go to Congress?

Bingo.

This guy is no "whistleblower". Snowden is a traitor to his country who dumped American secrets with a far left paper in the UK. He's currently hiding out in Hong Kong (China) where it is unlikely he will face justice in the US. Once his passport is revoked there is every chance China will simply let him stay. In fact, this could be nothing more than Chinese espionage timed to disrupt the US attempts to dissuade China from their massive cyber spying/theft programs. The timing is too perfect.

Sad to see so many on the right supporting the latest version of Bradley Manning.

from the comments and the “Likes” on ABCNews.com, it looks like the vast majority agree the Boehner is the traitor.

As one person stated “is it being a traitor to report something being done illegally?”

So you can elect lesser evils like Bhoner, Rubio, Paul and the like.

Wasn’t Boehner one of those who “explained” that the Patriot Act would only effect phone numbers that appeared in the call list of captured al-quida cel phones? along with Peter King and many other Republican Congressmen and Senators?

So going to Hong Kong makes you a traitor???? Russia OFFERING asylum is treasonous?

I don’t give two pins about this violation of the contract between us and our government being exposed to the world. The blatant LIE that this is for our own good, or to defend against another 9/11 sort of falls apart when you see that they are looking at only DOMESTIC phone records and excluding international calls.

He didn’t go to congress because: John Boehner.

Don’t buy into the false dichotomy of “surrender all rights or risk a terrorist attack”... There are far easier, less invasive, and more effective ways of gaining security from jihidis.

Apparently, Snowden is a Ron Paul fan. Ron and Rand seem to be sticking up for him. If he thinks likes Paul, he probably feels that we as Americans are responsible for the terror attacks against us.

Methinks The Cryer needs to re-read the following:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Note, John Boehner, the following quote references The People, NOT the government.

To All Who Are Arguing With Each Other: this is a good place for me to learn about politicians and what govt is doing. I am not smart like most of you. I use FR to learn. So please don’t fight; Debate. That is how I learn: by hearing both sides not attacking other side.

Oh boy he made that Traitor distinction in one day and has yet to identify the Traitor he has been dealing with for the last 5 years.... Truly incredible.
