Have you read the FISA Warrant? Here is an interesting portion of it:

"The Order does not require Verizon to produce telephony metadata for communications wholly originating and terminating in foreign countries".

This is the FISA Warrant.

The warrant appears to take us back to the pre-9/11 point of view. This time our government is at war with us and not the jihadis.

Again, misuse of the term ‘government’ to mean ‘current ruling clique’ ~ no, my government isn’t at war with me, or you. Are you Brits all that po’d about what NSA was doing in the UK? Remember, we ended up needing to put our forces there for more than half a century due to the inability of Europeans to self-govern.

BTW, glad you posted that segment of the FISA warrant ~ notice the use of the term METADATA ~ you and others have been treating METADATA as if that were actual communications content ~ like text from an email, a voice recording, etc.

So why do you do that?

And, what about the Chicom and other efforts in the same game ~ doesn't it bother you that someone who claims to be an important 'expert' in this matter has flown the coop and ended up with the Chicoms? Does that have no meaning for you?
