He has been called a TROLL, several times, and been TOLD by some posters that he should GET OFF FREE REPUBLIC.
One poster said only posters who agreed with him should post on FREE REPUBLIC, so that he could 'enjoy' what he read.
Isn't that 'censorship'. Isn't that the kind of CRAP that goes on over at DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND.
If you disagree with a poster (doesn't matter what the issue), can you not 'debate' the issue, rather than just tell them to 'go away'?
FR is an OPEN DISCUSSION FORUM. Doesn't that mean we DEBATE and DISCUSS? Doesn't that require DIFFERENT VIEWPOINTS ?
If you were on a thread discussing a subject and people told you to GO AWAY just because you disagreed with their opinion of the situation..... what would you do ?
One small correction to your post,UCANSEE2...there are two options in a case like this,civil debate with the "troll" or put him/her on your "pay no mind" list.Actually,I just thought of a third option...report the "troll" to the moderators who may,or may not ban the offender temporarily or permentmently.We all know of many folks who have experienced the "Viking kitties"...some of them are even old timers like me.
