For 50 years the majority of my charitable donations have gone to the Boy Scouts or the Salvation Army because I had confidence that those two organizations would do the right thing with my money.

Sadly, only the SA will hear from me in the future.

If an organization will desert its core principles it is no longer worthy of respect -- or support.

The Homomob will now turn its attack to the SA. If the Army is defeated we won't have to look further for Gomorrah -- we'll be there.

(These are the thoughts of a one-time Boy Scout and the father of two Eagle Scouts.)

The problem is there were already gay scouts in the organization. My BIL was gay and became an Eagle Scout. I am not saying that I agree with the decision at all, just saying that they are there, regardless.

My BIL left scouting because he found himself attracted to another young man in the organization and knew he could not continue. It pains me to think that the leadership of the org would not see the can of worms they are opening as a result of this decision. They have made it easier for people to stay and for lines to be crossed.
