Where were you on Saturday, June 8, 1985?
The payroll project on which I had been working for the prior two years had just been terminated for going on too long and producing too little, and people were being shown the door. I called in an IOU and found a slot working for one of my users at the bank, and she provided me a place to hide until my enemies were all retired or fired.
