When we moved from FL to NV we purposely made sure our routing would avoid “unfriendly” states. We wanted to go the northern route since we had already seen a lot of the southern route. The entire “arsenal” was in the trunk (less one for on the road) buried under all the other stuff we packed in the trunk. Long guns were in soft cases inside a garment bag. To a casual observer they would have thought we went heavy on the starch. LOL! Made it safely with no issues. Pre-planning is a must when traveling cross country.
Can you, or any other Texas FReeper, explain why Perry agreed to extradite this poor guy to NJ?
It makes it seem like there’s more to the story.
I found a reference to Hugo Boss that said he manufactured the uniforms but didn’t design them.
If he rented a hotel room, he would have had to move all of the weapons to the room, and then not leave it. Cars are not specifically known for being burglar proof.
Was he running for President at the time, perhaps?
Hate to admit it, but politicians' entire outlook seems to change while they're in the race...
But, then, they are politicians -- so I don't trust anything they do -- and that specifically applies to "Goodhair RINO Rick".
I like it!
As a prosecutor I would have checked off “REJECT” on the intake sheet and in the blank for the reason I would have put “refer to the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution.”
I have done it before as a prosecutor. But that was here in TX.
Either way... he had a hand in it.
No big deal. Lots of German industires worked for “the war effort”. Krupp, Farben, etc. All of those weapons and munitions didn’t just magically appear.
If we’d lost the war, GM, Chrysler, Ford, etc., executives would have been prosecuted as war criminals.
The victor writes history; the loser goes home and waits for the midnight knock on the door.
I’m supposed to be related to one of the companies that produced war weapons. Vollrath. However the NJ State Police look and act like SS troopers.
Check this out. The SS will be in force for revenue.
**WARNING TO ALL MY FRIENDS RE: NJ NEW STATE POLICE INITIATIVE**
New NJ State Police Initiative as CONFIRMATION BY MY FATHER whom is retired from the NJ State Police...
Starting July 28, New Jersey will launch a 30-day speeding ticket frenzy.
The state estimates that 9 million dollars will be generated in speeding tickets. One million dollars will go to pay state troopers over-time.
There will be 50 state troopers on duty at all times patrolling the 9 main intersections and highways as follows:
I-295 North and South,
I-95 Jersey Turnpike North and South,
I-80 East and West,
I-287 North and South,
I-78 East and West,
I-195 East and West,
I-280 East and West,
Route 130 - North and South,
Garden State Parkway - North and South
5 MPH above the limit can justify a ticket and every state trooper is supposed to pull a car over and write a ticket every 10 to 20 minutes.
They have issued 30 brand new unmarked Crown Victoria cruisers.
If you work in NJ, NY, DE or CT, you will probably be on one of these highways.
Starting August 15, the price of a violation to show your driver’s license, registration or insurance card at the time you are stopped, increased from $44.00 to $173.00. (Keep these documents in your car).
And the fine for not having all three documents is $519.00!
The fine for hand-held cell phone use while driving will be going up to $180.00
“...NJ State Police look and act like SS troopers...”
That’s because they can!!
What a wonderful state NJ is... Just f***ing stellar. Say! Why don’t we model the REST of the country after NJ???
Why don’t we just cut NJ loose and let it float away!
Not an option.
Better option would be to build an opposition party that actually learns how to fight back and re-take the state.
But I’m not optimistic about it.
NJ is lost.Dems rule and they have a Rino governor.Got out 6 years ago and went back to PA where I grew up with firearms and can still buy the evil looking kind with no questions asked.
