I guess psychiatric help vs physical mutilation is out of the question these days....sigh....
There are occasional nutters who make it to the teams...the initial selection is based totally on physical fitness and swimming ability. But after about 8-weeks, they start washing tadpoles out if they are not cutting it mentally...don’t, won’t or can’t fit in. After 21-weeks, they have a pretty good idea of how well eveyone is grounded; but, I guess occasionally someone slips through.
