I went for Eager Tiger in 2010. Swam in the Dead Sea, rode a horse into Petra, and visited the baptism site of Jesus. Hopefully your guy will get to explore.
He’s been there for a while now, part of that initial training / advisement crew I believe.
Ordinarily I’d agree with you about Debka, except this is an annual exercise and is also being reported by the major news media. Google Eager Lion 2013. And it’s 3,000 U.S. troops.
