A Tel Aviv District Court judge has resigned following a public furor over comments he made in court that some girls "enjoy being raped."

Nissim Yeshaya was presiding over a hearing on the rape of a 13-year-old Israeli girl by four Palestinian youths when he made the comment. He apologized and said the remark was taken out of context.

I think that at least 95% of girls are destroyed for life after rape, and 5% are twisted by the act beyond sanity.

Attorney Aloni-Sadovnik later described the scene that ensued to Israel Army Radio: “In the midst of the passionate debate, he (Judge Yeshaya) suddenly said aloud, in earshot of everyone present, ‘There are some girls who enjoy being raped.’”...

Hmmmm.

Makes one wonder about Judge Yeshaya.

Apparently he’s retired but called back sometimes to hear cases, so there might have been a question about his mental state before this.

That’s a hopeful idea.

Thanks. I should have read the entire article.

A rape fantasy is common for many women... but injecting factoids like that into the discussion isn't usually appreciated.

A 1974 study by Hariton and Singer found that being "overpowered or forced to surrender" was the second most frequent fantasy in their survey; a 1984 study by Knafo and Jaffe ranked being overpowered as their study's most common fantasy during intercourse; and a 1988 study by Pelletier and Herold found that over half of their female respondents had fantasies of forced sex.

Put him through a wood chipper and let him do the world a little good as slow release fertilizer.

You’re braver than I am to bring these studies up.

In some of the darker corners of the webs it is plainly apparent that rape and even gang rape are favorite fixations of a good many women.

Or, more accurately, posters claiming to be women. LOL

Rape is pretty obviously the ultimate expression of the whole dominance/submission meme. A great part of the “romance novel” industry, written by women for women, is clearly based on implied or explicit domination/submission or even rape.
