I think this will be the new line of Constitutional reading:

The Second Amendment only applies to the militia, and by analogy, the First Amendment only applies to a comparable group. (In this case the media).
It's brilliant for them, because not only do they get away with suppressing speech they don't like, it makes their Second Amendment stronger.
"Those civil rights were only intended for a select group, i.e. the militia and the media.

The first amendment only applies to single sheet, hand operated single color printing presses, not the high speed, fully automatic assault presses on which newspapers and magazines are printed today. That is if you went by the same logic as those who say that the second applies only to muskets.
