I am an older guy....it gets to me, that my grandchildren, are reinventing the wheel...when they could avail themselves of my advice and experience....but no, they know everything....then I think; was I like that at their age....maybe I was...lol lol...oh well, it is great morning, and I am off to coffee...let the world take a couple of turns...
I notice the older I get the smarter my parents get and they have both been dead for many years. I may be a slow learner but at times I wish I could go back and listen to them- I think my life would have been much easier.
I tried the “modern” ways for a while- after two failed marriages, a stressful job, and a drinking problem, I did wise up and then this amazing man that has been my hubby for over 30 years came into my life and we raised children together that are pretty self sufficient and are on their way to success in work, and they still love us and each other. Our children for some reason have had relationship issues but maybe they will wise up because it is mostly them picking the wrong people to begin with.
