Senior GOP Senators have no doubt already had The Talk with Cruz, about that possibility and others.
He seems to have the guts, so far, to simply ignore them.

Yep. Cruz definitely has guts. I support my Senator 100% on this. He does need to watch his back...others who’ve even mentioned doing this have met *unfortunate circumstances*.
