This thread and all threads at this conservative site includes politics, and you know that, since you spend so much time promoting liberalism here.
My posts have all been focused on the series All in the Family.
The is ZERO doubt of what Norman Lear’s purpose of the series was, and what his political/cultural goals were that he wanted from the series.
I don’t think many were even remotely tuned to the political leanings so much...rather if anything ...revealed how ridiculous the left point of view was.....and they gave Archie a platform many could identify with, done in such good humor everyone laughed regardless.
It was a great show all enjoyed no matter what political views one held....though I’m sure some on the left got their pants in a knot.
