Full Dimensions Of IRS Scandal Emerge [Obama must have played a large role in it]

The revelation that Acting IRS Commissioner Douglas Schulman visited the White House at least 157 times during the period in which conservative groups were being targeted with tax audits gives us the first real indication of the extent to which this scandal reaches into the White House.

The incredible frequency of the White House visits — essentially weekly — indicate that Obama must have been deeply involved with the inner workings of the audits and harassment of conservative groups. If Schulman was in the White House every week, what was he there to talk about?

Not ObamaCare. Not without having HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in attendance, you wouldn’t. About Treasury issues? Deficit reduction? Not without Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner.

The obvious reason is that Obama was following the IRS audits with an obsessive, personal involvement. Apparently, the Citizens United scandal so galvanized him into action and tapped so deeply into his psyche that he was determined personally to supervise the castration of the wealthy people and groups whose access to the political system was opened wide by the Court.

To see a man who held a subordinate, non-policy making position 157 times, you have to be a president on a mission.

It transforms one’s sense of the scandal from a rogue agency to a rogue president using the agency as his personal instrument. An instrument of vengeance, or self-defense, and of political influence.

Nixon was doomed when we all realized that the paranoia of the man had infected his entire administration. When Chuck Colson led the plumbers unit to investigate leaks and to use the IRS to terrify and intimidate his enemies, we realized that he was operating as Nixon’s man doing Nixon’s bidding based on the needs of Nixon’s psyche.

No we realize that the IRS audits and the harassment of conservative groups went very very deep in Obama’s priority system. This scandal will destroy him.

Or, as the Greeks said in ancient times: “Those whom the Gods would destroy they first make mad with power.”

Doesn't matter, he was the head of state when this happened, it was his responsibility.

Just like the Captain of a ship, if even the lowest seaman commits a crime, the responsibility falls on the captain.

Democrat Obama used the gestapo IRS to rig the election for
him and the democrats/socialists in the Senate.

Obama’s IRS prevented many tea party groups from getting organized. Other gov agencies also involved in stealing the election. So IRS and other agencies coordinated in rigging the election. Why isn’t anyone shouting this from the rooftops( calling Coulter, Malking, Palin, Rush , Levin, Drudge?)

The IRS intimidated good conservative Americans into not raising funds for the election, The IRS criminals massively suppressed conservative voter turnout. the 2012 election must be contested. The IRS rigged it. the media said the democrat ground game was superior . that’s bs. now we know what happened to the tea party of 2010 . the IRS destroyed it.

These arrogant communists/democrats at the IRS act like they are above the law.

Government doesn’t work. It’s not just cause it’s big. Walmart is big but works cause capitalism works. Abolish the IRS. Impeach and imprison democrat Obama

The enemy is the democrat party = government

The US CWII is already being fought - and won - by Obama.

If only Zero had met with his Jobs Council half as many times, things might have started to improve for us lowly American citizens.

Unlikely, if you think about it a bit more...

But you still have to sell it to the jury low-information voters. Those 157 visits, minus relevant policy makers, such as Bitch Sibelius, can't hurt!

Obama could and should be removed from office over this - but it would require a very different set of Republicans to pull it off.

As an aside, I don't think it's just ‘low information voters’ that contribute. There are plenty of voters with the same vengeance and spite that Obama has, and they don't care if what he or any other Democrat does is legal.

I had to amend you post...

Obama could eat live kittens on the White Hut lawn in front of millions of people watching on T.V. and Harry Reid and his running democrat dogs would not convict to impeach him...

Without a GOP Senate majority... impeachment is just about the dumbest thing the House GOP can do...

I think you're correct. We're following much the same trajectory as the old Roman Republic as it transitioned to an imperial dictatorship; labeling the opposition party enemies of the state, confiscating their wealth, and killing them.

I do not believe Obama would be removed even if there were 67 GOP senators, never mind a majority.

Congress's powers over the Fourth Branch are vestigial. Just as the Roman Senate in theory exercised power over the Emperor, our Congress is no longer the body the founders created.

Maybe we'll luck out and find our Sulla, but I doubt it.

So WHO was he talking with? Obama wasn’t in the White House that many days. Betcha’ Jarrett is the one directing the war on conservatives.

And Schulman’s wife just happens to be “senior program advisor for Public Campaign, an “organization dedicated to sweeping campaign reform that aims to dramatically reduce the role of big special interest money in American politics.””

“If only Zero had met with his Jobs Council half as many times, things might have started to improve for us lowly American citizens.”

I agree. I posted on another thread yesterday:

What I’d like to know and I haven’t heard anyone on TV asking is why did Penny Pritzker visit the WH the 4th most times and with whom did she meet - Obummer, valjal?

As I think all FReepers know, she was a hugh (and series) bundler for Obummer in Chicago. She was just recently nominated for Commerce Secretary. According to Wiki, she was on the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitveness and apparently also served on the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board. I thought the Jobs Council only met a few times over the 3-4 year period. Not sure about the Econ Recovery Board.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penny_Pritzker

This is an interesting article about her and the nomination:

Penny Pritzker not a hit with the 99%

“Safely ensconced in his second and final term, President Obama finds all this dubious financial history by a longtime top fundraiser easy to overlook. But what messages does it really send? All in all, it sounds just like the right background for Commerce cabinet pick – if we are talking about the Commerce Department of a third world country.

What was that again about hope and change?”

http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/us-money-blog/2013/may/23/penny-pritzker-commerce-99-percent

I also remember Beck discussing her on his TV show a couple of years ago.
