Former IRS commissioner Shulman’s wife works for liberal group fighting open campaign spending

Former Internal Revenue Service commissioner Douglas H. Shulman, a frequent White House guest during the period when the IRS was targeting conservative nonprofits, is married to the senior program advisor for Public Campaign, an “organization dedicated to sweeping campaign reform that aims to dramatically reduce the role of big special interest money in American politics.”

Shulman’s wife Susan L. Anderson is the senior program advisor for the Washington-based nonprofit organization Public Campaign, which claims that it “is laying the foundation for reform by working with a broad range of organizations, including local community groups, around the country that are fighting for change and national organizations whose members are not fairly represented under the current campaign finance system.”

Earlier this month, when news broke of the targeting scandal broke, Public Campaign president and CEO Nick Nyhart belittled the concerns of disenfranchised conservatives.

Back in March, The Wall Street Journal’s Damian Paletta profiled Daniel Werfel — then the controller for the White House budget office, and today the newly named acting commissioner of the IRS — focusing on his role in instructing the government how to deal with the sequester’s $85 billion in budget cuts.

Numerous friends and colleagues said Mr. Werfel doesn’t come across as overtly political or partisan. Now, Mr. Werfel has been thrust into Washington’s bitter budget politics, publicly defending the current White House’s proposals, something he didn’t do as a civil servant. That could draw him into fights as Congress prepares to scrutinize the White House’s implementation of the sequester. More than once, he has said any package of measures to replace the cuts must include tax increases, which many Republicans oppose.

In April 2012, he tussled with House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan(R., Wis.) at a congressional hearing about the sequester. Mr. Ryan wanted to know the White House’s plan to implement the cuts. Mr. Werfel said the administration would rather Congress find a way to avoid them.

Obama used the IRS and all other agencies under his control to target anyone who was against his reelection in order to win another election. That is worse than Watergate. Congress was also involved when DEMS wrote letters to the IRS demanding they be targeted all the while George Soros funded David Brock’s ‘Media Matters, tax exempt by the way, got no scrutiny even though they waged a very public ‘WAR ON FOX’(sound familiar).

This last election was STOLEN by using government agencies to STOP everyday citizens from participating in the election process by joining groups such as the TEA PARTY to stop Obama from getting reelected.

Remeber MSM saying ‘where was the TEA PARTY in the election? Well we know now where they were, getting audited!

This goes straight to the top, OBAMA used the IRS to win an election!!!

Homeland Security officials said their enforcement record spoke for itself. Under the Obama administration, ICE has deported more than 1.4 million people, including increasing numbers of convicted criminals ??? 225,000 last year. Officials say Mr. Crane ignores the deportation numbers as part of a personal crusade to put a right-wing tilt on immigration policy, which they say is out of line with his duties as a law enforcement officer.

By a broad definition the numbers are up. But that conclusion relies on a different method of counting. The administration is apparently padding their statistics by counting those illegal aliens who are prevented from successfully crossing the border in the first place.
