How do the S300s do with stealth?
“How do the S300s do with stealth?”
As I understand it if you have enough linked radars then stealth is reduced. We only have the F-22 and the B2 that are stealthy. I’m willing to wager we can’t fly the F-22’s at the required operational tempo for long because I’ll bet there are insufficient spares. Also, when we do lose one, we’ll be giving the technology away. And, we will lose one as losses are dictated more by poor usage and ROI’s than by the planes and pilots. I see no reason why the US should be involved in any way as both sides are incredibly evil. When our side wins they’ll immediately be back to killing Americans and Israelis. I’m for standing well clear on this one.
I don’t advocate we enter this either. I’ve been advocating against it.
I wonder how those S300s work with an aircraft just over the surface.
If there’s a way to defeat these, Israel will work it out.
“If theres a way to defeat these, Israel will work it out.”
I don’t know if this is still the case, but before the war and after the Israelis blew up the nuclear reactor the Russians put in a first world anti-aircraft system capable of taking down low flying F-16’s. The control radars were off-shore in Russian warships. To take out the radars would require a direct attack on the Russian navy. The Israelis have not, to my knowledge, ventured far into Syrian space since then. The political cost of losing a pilot is too high. I suspect the Israelis will continue to finance ground operations and launch stand-off weapons.
Israel is the world leader in remotely piloted vehicles. I imagine if there is an attack it will be by Israeli RPV’s unless we get stupid and do it ourselves.

Thanks for the information and comments. Sounds reasonable to me...
Perfect
So how are those Peace Talks former Senator Kerry was supposed to be doing actually going ? Not well I presume.
Thanks Abakumov.
