American politics have reached the zenith of its evolution. Keeping in mind evolution works towards what propagates effectively.
Our politicians are morons who have no value, ethics, or talent other than convincing people to vote for them.
That’s the purpose of our gov’t now. To exist. No other purpose.
Spot on. We’ve lost sight of the true purpose of government to protect life, liberty and property.
Now it does nothing of the sort.

These so-called leaders for the past 30+ years aided and abetted tens of millions of illegals, Muslims and others from 3rd world countries to enter our country at will, in fact rolled out the red carpet for them, offered them prizes, incentives, gifts, free health care schooling etc......Our electoral process has been totally undermined and compromised..
We've been gang banged by those running government...
Not only to exist, but to grow.
Unfortunately, like the dark side of capitalism and socialism, they cannot simply exist but must consume that which threatens them.
