A cop who can’t disarm a woman with a knife without shooting her to death shouldn’t be on the force

Really? A woman who'd already been shot with a stun gun, and it had no effect? And was swinging a knife around?

What do you suggest the LEO do? Try to tackle her or take her from behind while she's wielding a knife? Have you ever tried to do that? Have you ever been trained to do that? It's not nearly as easy as you seem to think it is.

You’re right, for an in shape trained person its even easier then I think.

Yes I have done it. A cop should be able to disarm a sample passer outter in his sleep.

Sorry, don’t buy it. A woman with a knife should be disarmable by a competant cop. She wasn’t a weapons exepert - THEY are PAID to be ones.

If military people are trained to do this, cops should be capabvle of doing it.

But then, its increasingly apparent we have precious few COMPETANT cops, and a whole Benefit Package Full of paramilitary wannabes instead.
