I would not put anything past Obama but it seems that it would be a difficult thing to pull off.

The only thing which seems odd to me is that so many high value soldiers were on a single helicopter. I will admit tho that I know very little about combat tactics.

I should add that I wondered why so many elite troops would be on a single helicopter for what appears to have been only a moderately high priority mission.

I could understand it if they were maybe after all the main leaders of Al Qaeda.

BINGO!..ST-6 Doesn't do “regular back up missions”...We have “Regular soldiers” trained to do that....Lots of ‘em!!!!!...its like sending in a B-52 to take out a sniper...It don't happen!

You don’t do combat assaults into a hot lz with a chinook...that’s just crazy.we learned that via experience in Vietnam....
