I expect to get as far with this suggestion as I do with my suggestion to pull your kids out of public indoctrination centers but I’ll say it anyway. It’s time to pull your boys out of Boy Scouts.
As a former scout, I believe you may get a (lot) of support for your suggestion.
We need a competitor to stand forward.
I believe this is a huge opportunity. The boy scouts will now start relying on gays for their enrollment.
Their new competitor, will instead be where the boy scouts have been, since between their founding, and last week.
This was a massive miscalculation by the boy scouts, if there is a real competitor they will rise to the top on this.
Actually, it's way PAST time to pull your boys out of the Boy Scouts. These decisions aren't made out of the blue. They are the logical conclusion to a long period of festering liberalization. An organization can't make a rotten decision like this unless its core is already rotten. Not to say that many local units didn't still espouse true scouting values. But the individual units don't make the rules.
I have heard from many former scouts and current scout leaders that the BSA has been tacking left for decades. After all, they've been tolerating many "openly 'geh'" activist scouts for years, and only the most egregiously disruptive ones have been dismissed. None of these would have been tolerated 25 years ago.
