Self defence, despite the myth in America, is perfectly legal and allowed in the UK. This idea that it is illegal in the UK to defend yourself is complete rubbish. It has never been illegal, the right has never been taken away. In fact, the laws of UK self-defence have been strengthened.
I am a gun owner and its also legal for me to use my gun if necessary to defend myself.
I am British. I live here. I was in 2008 the victim of crime and had to use self defence. So I know what I am talking about, and I am TELLING you the facts and I am telling you you are wrong.
You are telling me the facts from your own point of view. I think you believe what you say. I think you believe you can shoot someone burglarizing your home and not be put on trial for it. I think you believe you could have legally shot the men attacking the soldier and not have been put through a trial.
I think you will be in for a rude awakening the moment you try.
