You continue to torture the analogy to miss the point. You also do selective reading, ignoring the what, 8, 10, 12 times I have condemned the decision in this thread......in an attempt to bolster your position by somehow hinting that I am excusing the decision. The boy scouts were wrong, period. Your hating of the sinner, and not just hating the sin, is still on display IMO.

It’s spineless, immoral adults to despise for the sodomite takeover of the BSA. These bastards should be kicked out of any position of authority in the scouts and tarred and feathered.

I don’t hate anyone. The firm and well articulated theological position I subscribe to states that homosexuality, whether a learned or acquired tendency, is to be sympathized with but not practiced. Celibacy is the answer,

As for 17 and 18 year old boys being sexually active, that’s a problem for society. It destroys the family. BSA had accepted this and had assisted boys in chastity. That’s good for families and for society. And it is not self righteous to say so. To not say so is complicit and if there is anything in society that points to its being a good thing, let us hear it.

and it’s not about who’s going to do well at final judgement. We can help each other on that, and should, when time comes. In fact the world is full of great stories of epiphanies of bad behaving people going good. it’s what classic lit is all about, as well.

But when people say it’s all good, god will sort it out later that doesn’t help the formation of young men. Any Eagle Scout can tell you that chastity, for instance, to name one virtue, is good for the betterment of society. And, in fact, that’s what BSA is. It’s not a religious organization.

Oh well, I have bored you enough.
