I think the same thing almost every day. However, I'm also glad I was born in 1950 and experienced the wonder of this once great nation for many years. I'm thankful for that.

I feel especially blessed to have lived through the Reagan era. It was a great, great run for the USA.

You guys who were kids in the 1950s are so lucky.
That was an America I will never know.
I caught a fleeting glimpse of it in the 1970s, I turned to look and it was gone.
