Cabelas needs to sit back and think about their products.
I’ve been buying cloths from them for decades.
They’ve moved a lot of their cloths production to third world countries, changed the design and fabrics and now have a terrible problem with size quality control.
After a bad experience with a pair of Guide Wear pants I started reading the reviews and was a little surprised at the number of negative comments from long time buyers.
I don’t see how they can be making any money now, everything I want to buy online is “out of stock” and can’ be back ordered. I use to shop there online site often but gave up a few months ago.
Nice people, good products, fast shipping and honest CS... I love an American Success!

I have my two houses in Maine listed with their real estate branch. Search Mack Cove.
Been to the mother ship store in Sidney many times. Would love to work for them.
My favorite store. Better than Bass Pro or Gander Mountain. Depending on need it is either there , Academy, or my local bow/gun shop.
I met both brothers back in the 80’s when they were opening their 2nd store in Kearney, Nebraska. At that time they had only the one store in Sidney. They wanted some big fish tanks and we had a friend in Dallas who made acrylic tanks. Three big tanks were designed and built, using 1 1/2 inch thick acrylic. The tanks were curved with no seams. The largest tank was 2300 gallons, and the other two were each half that size. I delivered the tanks to Kearney.
After Cabela’s got them the tanks were designed inside with the same care as you see in the photos in this post and then stocked with Nebraska game fish...quite an impressive sight coming into the store.
Cabela’s growth since that time has been phenomenal, and to think this business started out with their father making fishing lures on his back porch in Sidney, a mail order business that grew into a store...and a huge success story.
