Correct me if I am wrong but aren’t you generally out of boy scouts by 18 years old and sex prior to that of any kind is illegal?

Also I see no sense in allowing “gay boys” and not allow gay leaders - I just don’t see how this is going to work and will NOT end well.

Ages of consent laws vary state-by-state. It doesn't make a lot of sense to have "gay scouts" not no "gay scoutmasters" meaning former "gay scouts" can't lead a troop. I imagine that prohibition'll fade with time.

I've never understood the adoration of the organization around these parts. I've met too many Eagle Scouts of questionable integrity, read about too many scouting disasters including many deaths.

Briefly discussing this issue with someone, I was told there were gay scouts allowed in Canada and elsewhere already so BSA is a late comer to this position.
