It is called political reality.
Do you spend political capital on this, knowing that you have next to no chance of hurting Obama and excellent chances of turning the polls against you, or do you step back and let it wind down? Rush is saying, and I fear he is right, that the latter is the best choice in the long run. Obama’s numbers have shown no effect from this, and neither has there been any mid term poll hit. The majority of the US public don’t care, and are annoyed about the reaction to the scandals.
It isn’t about fear. It is about not attacking a lion with a tooth pick. There is a reason this was released now. The other side chose the timing and method of release. This whole thing is a media driven event, and they have been in control of the narrative. Even the arrest of Rosen on treason charges was a calculated move. When you see what looks like an ambush up ahead, do you charge in or out flank?
Stop and think. They could have sat on this, but chose to release it now. Why? What is their game? Why do this? What is the real target?
The IRS is a different animal. No race card to play, no gender card. It’s the IRS.
“This whole thing is a media driven event, and they have been in control of the narrative”
Guess who’s in control of the narrative on the conservative side? -My point exactly.
Rush knows he’s creating and/or perpetuating the narrative when he tells his audience to go easy on Obama and the IRS.
I agree with the notion that King Bozo The Omnippyimpotent is coated with non stick because of the Linbaugh Theorm (which was a stroke of genius to explain exactly how His Royal High-mess is getting away with all of this) but that does not negate the fact that real crimes against this nation and its citizens have occurred...
