Can somebody that had the privilege of watching this live tell me if Gowdy was the first to mention that Lerner could not take the Fifth?
I ask as this Politico story makes it sound like Issa called it first.

Yes, Gowdy in fact interrupted Issa to inform him that Lerner couldn’t take the 5th now because she had given an opening statement. IOW, she had testified and they had the right to cross examine her now because that effectively waived her right to take the 5th.

It also appeared to me that Issa knew what was coming. His 'respect' for her looked like women do in the South all the time. Ever heard, "Oh, how nice!"?
