In a year, the senior would be in college, and coming back weekly for her ‘honey’. At 19 and 15, it might still be legal, but I think the authorities would have been asking for questions. One is adult, and the other is barely a teen.
This girl was only doing what she was taught. If you want to hold someone responsible go for the adults around her.

Equal application of the law. In this case, Florida law makes it a crime for anyone 18 or older having sex of any sort with someone between 12 and 16.
So yes, she’s apparently guilty of a crime. Is it worth 15 years in the slammer ? I don’t think so.
