I guess if the one with the gold is making the rules, or the tax breaks in this case, then you do what they say or, heaven forbid, you pay taxes like everyone else. Some non-profits do good, but I just don’t feel that sorry for them. Now if they are pulling this stuff on tax payers, that’s different.

I have some very limited experience with this stuff..

keep in mind that charitable organizations are comprised of tax payers who do pay their taxes. Charitable organizations donate their money to various causes (ie they can’t and don’t keep it for themselves)

it seems that one of the reasons the IRS is targeting conservative groups is to find out who is in them to target individuals

now I may not support the goals of every charitable 501C3 or 4 but other people do and they have a right to give their money as they see fit.
