I tried it, but the crowd I went to were more into libertine behavior than Libertarian, and some of them were wiccans, so that didn’t last years! More like a day or two, LOL!
The experience kind of tainted my opinion of the philosophy until I read up on all that stuff.
Now I’m very Conservative and slightly Libertarian with emphasis on Godly freedom and certainly not anarchy.

Wiccans! That must have been an experience! Libertarians are strange enough. LOL!

LOL, wiccans! I stuck at it until I tried to plug in and meet other Libertarians. At that point the scales were removed from my eyes, so to speak.
Even back then there were already a few Dykes on Bikes in the local party. I suspect it is overrun now. I'm not going back to check.
