Early on when statins came upon the scene, I believe there was a small blurb on the prescription bottle that urged the taking of COenzymeQ10. At some point, believe that all went away.
Also, don’t ‘they’ fiddle now and again with the numbers, so that more became ‘eligible’ for a statin perscription - - ?
My understanding of COQ10 is that it addreses the electrical part of the heart.
I heard that the drug companies made a “marketing” decision to get more people on statins.
