I know very little about the guy, but we’ll see how this plays out in the general election.
It is one thing to speak in platitudes and another to talk about the issues that are relevant at the state level. Things like transportation, Medicaid, jobs, etc. become the big issues. I have yet to hear Jackson talk about them in any meaningful way. He has never held elective office and he has never been an executive.
It remains to be seen if he will help or hurt the other Reps on the ticket.
