My thoughts exactly. Either they are in CYA mode or they’ve been blindsided too?
My Guess is it’s CYA and they’ve known for some time that ‘Something’ was going to break. However with the visceral hatred and fear the citizenry has for those three letters “IRS” is something they know is going to resonate and badly for their side.
