Via NROs Andrew Johnson, Joe Scarborough isnt the only TV show host rethinking his scorn of gun-rights advocates this week. Piers Morgan, who engaged in some of the worst demagoguery outside of the White House and Capitol Hill over the last six months on that issue, routinely derided the idea that the American government couldnt be trusted to abide by the law and tell the truth. Now, after watching what happened at the IRS and to the Associated Press the CNN host admits to Penn Jillette that maybe people had a point about creeping tyranny after all:

Ive had some of the pro-gun lobbyists on here, saying to me, Well, the reason we need to be armed is because of tyranny from our own government, and Ive always laughed at them, Morgan said last night. But, actually, this is vaguely tyrannical behavior by the American government.
Guest Penn Jillette agreed with his assessment: I think that it shows you that how much we can trust the government and just sit back, which is not very much at all.
Vaguely?
Id guess that these scandals have put an end to any notion of reviving gun control in this session of Congress.....

No, kidding, dufus. NOW do you know what we were talking about? What is so ironic is the Creep in the White House was the very day this came out telling university students to not believe in the rumors regarding tyranny in our government. Putz.
Well, you have to cut Piers a little slack. From where he comes from, with CCTV cameras on every corner monitored by the government, what we have here so far by the Zero administration must look fairly tame in his eyes.
Looking at her face, I detect that she is a serious psychopath.
She could audition for the part of Norman Bate’s mom in a remake of Psycho.
I mean really, look at that deranged face!
Yea, I think a little slack is good.
After all, he is one of the VERY FEW who is able to see and understand what has transpired.
Stephy Stephanopolous and Jay “Bird” Carney are still out saying: “Scandals? What scandals?”
They are serious mental cases. Or just Baghdad Bob wannabes.
Pierced Moron actually had a moment of mental clarity.
There is SOME hope that change may actually happen.
Don’t hold yer breath.
I concur!
She’s evil.
Vaguely????? About as vague as a brick in the face.
Vaguely?? I mean, it's not the most extreme tyranny I've ever heard of, but surely it merits more than a "vaguely". OTOH, for this collectivist pansy to even go that far is practically a miracle, so no looking gift-morons in the mouth, I guess.
Foreign moron, to boot.
