Someday I’ll show you a monster hailstone from May Fest ‘95.

Friend of mine was there with her husband. She was hit in the head with a hailstone about the size of a softball and had to be taken to the hospital! Luckily she wasn’t killed. Video of the hail storm there that was shown on TV just happened to include her being hit.

My husband was working at the Cash America building there on the Trinity river. The first floor lobby became a triage unit because at the time it was the first major building nearby.

I had to go get my husband because his car was demolished. It looked like the entire Texas Rangers baseball team took their bats to it all at once. Never seen anything like it before or since.
