Report in when you can.
Sounds really bad in Granbury on scanner. Setting up red, yellow and black triage. Fatalities not being reported in media yet..but scanner has deaths.
The mile wide tornado dissipated somewhat before it got to us. Cleburne, a few miles to the west of us, got thrashed pretty heavily. Most of the TV/radio news is coming out of Granbury due to more extensive damage.
Reports from Cleburne of a lot of damaged buildings but no fatalities. Wife says kids school damaged and roads closed due to debris.
We never lost power but it browned out some. The tornado or its remnants passed over the house and for several minutes we had gale force winds out of the east. Lots of wind till about 1 am. Witnessed 2 funnels on the ground to the south east of us several miles away. Nearly constant lightning for over an hour, most of which stayed in the sky.
All I could see this morning when I left in the dark was some leaves stripped off of trees.
I have no idea how much rain we had but the stock tank went from about 1/4 to over the spill way. We had hail probably 6 times but never over quarter size and surprisingly it did not manage to break any windows.
