That sounds like the campaign signs here in Idaho’s 1st congressional district from about 6 years ago: Sportsmen for (democrat) Minnick. Never met one “sportsman for minnick,” but the signs were all over.
It worked ... once.
Leftists can create all the front groups they want, funded by Soros and his ilk. It is the kind of thing they do, many are no more than postal drops. I remember a while back when we FReepers traced a bunch to a single little house.
