For those who are not aware, Bill Clinton took cash from Chinese campaign bundlers named Riady and Wong (sp). He then gave the Chinese the technology to fix their third stage rocket problems. Loral and Hughes (as in Howard Hughes) were the biggest campaign contributors to his election. If not for those companies and Bill Clinton, we would not have inter-continental ballistic missiles facing us right now from China.

Anyway, we shut down Billyboy's efforts to let China Overseas Shipping Company (COSTCO) buy the historic Long Beach Naval Station property.

Really? You go that far back? The must have been mid-1998. My introduction to street activism, although not actually a Free Republic sponsored event. I was working with a local org and the Mayor of Long Beach and most importantly, Senator Inhofe's staff on a daily basis. Do you remember my handle being around at the time.
