Are these the same reporters who claim special Constitutional powers because the Public Has A Right To Know?

“off the record briefing” - so a private, secret meeting with the press. Literally, the press is having a strategy session with the White House on how to counteract the negative light this shines on the administration.

We have no free press - they are voluntarily doing the bidding of the government as loyal Democrat party activists.

I get the feeling that they are setting this up so that they will admit to a cover up but that they had a good reason to do it. They are going to claim that the cover up was necessary as part of some national security issue that they can’t talk about because it involves sensitive national security issues (like gun running to the terrorists).

They called the press together to try to sell them on the idea so they will all be on the same page when the SHTF. .

If the 'secret' Journ-O-list apparatchiks suffered no fallout after defending the Magic Negro's association with Rev.Wright, why should the regime fear repercussions when the same are now blatantly circling the wagons to cover his evil arse this time?

I’ll tell you something about Japan:

There’s something called “kisshya kai” —press pool. Groups in Japan are orderly, and they function like cartels —they keep things orderly and force markets to work in times of unusual stress, whereas a pure market might fail, in some sense.

But even if this is good for some markets, in others it’s bad. Like in the market for news —should groups of reporters regularly get together and decide in private what elements of breaking stories come out to the public...?

Because that is what they do with the MSM in Japan:

Groups of the really “pro” reporters in Japan feel so beholden to their government sources and to their journalistic group that they VERY rarely actually break stories. And so there is a quirk to Japanese political news —only the really “scummy” weekly rags (sorta like the Enquirer, but perhaps more like the Newspaper rages that would scream about Alien Space Babies found in watermelons) actually break major scandals.

And I see that same cartelized pattern at work in the USA, for at least 10 years now.

This would be a good time for some of our elected representatives to shine some light on this nonsense. I won’t hold my breath.

Now what could the little thug and his crony buddies be up to. Time for getting on the same page. I bet they even synchronize their watches for when the talking points go out.

1. How to get rid of or damage the witnesses.
2. Need an alibi for the thug-in-chief.
3. Make-up fake documents.
4. Circle the wagons and if necessary blame Bush.

I understand the appeal of conservative porn, but sometimes people have to be reminded of reality.

Barry isn't going anywhere unless certain factions want him gone. This whole affair is a pissing match between State, DoD and intelligence (CIA/NSA).

The press, House republicans and many others groups having zero say in this matter. What happens in DC stays in DC. No two-year term rep from the provinces is going to determine this outcome.

The reason F&F didn't go anywhere is because those that were harmed didn't (and don't) have any political power. Benghazi, however, brings it many different powerful players.

If they want Barry gone, Barry is a goner no matter what kind of coordination with the press is attempted. If they don't want him gone, but simply need him to hang around, greatly weakened, to rubber stamp whatever requisition they want, then that's the way it will roll.

OK, enough cold water; back to conservative porn imagining all kinds of popular repudiation.

AP likely was in "deep background" briefing.

Told to take the first question to deflect from Benghazi.
