I know...I don’t go to Pitt only for special occassions and those are rare...I really am a small city gal....though I’ve lived in major cities throughout my life. I’m rather settled here it seems now.
Here you can be in the country within twenty minutes or less...and I like the idea of having the best of both worlds.
Pitt is about 45 or so minutes from me...the family lives in the sub of Pitt...but they have quite a Hideaway property there with quite a bit of land with it...two properties and two homes.
You’re right it would be a great Red state if not for the cities...and we all know it here as well. But Pitt is so blue it’s almost black! You can tell it too when you visit with the people there.
I’m so glad to know your family has such a wonderful “hideaway,” and that you’re happy where you are, too. The inner cities are all too dangerous now.
