Former Obama National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor has let loose on Twitter this morning, mocking the Benghazi hearing today as "amateur hour."
Vietor also mocked the hearings as conspiracy theories on par with Area 51 and the moon landings conspiracy theories:
Heard that Rep. Cummings asked Rep. Issa to include Thomas Pickering, cochair of ARB report in today's hearing, but Issa refused. #Benghazi
Why on earth would Issa refuse to let the cochair of an independent review board on #Benghazi testify at his hearing on the subject?
Could it be that today's #Benghazi hearing has nothing to do with fact-finding but is just the latest shamefully politicized Issa attack
@GrahamBlog @joenbc can you explain why Issa refused to allow Tom Pickering to be a witness today? He cochaired #Benghazi review
Reporters are very excited that Rep Chaffetz will be at today's #Benghazi hearing. Maybe he'll disclose more CIA facilities! Amateur hour.
Heard @jaketapper is chasing down rumor that House Oversight Cmte ran out of chairs. Why else would Issa refuse to include Pickering today?
Hey @Milbank what do you think Rep. Chaffetz will disclose today? Moon landing photos? Map of Area 51? http://goo.gl/W7NuW
Too bad this miserable bastard wasn’t left twisting in the wind like those unfortunate souls testifying at the hearings.
He’s nothing but a tool.
“What amazes me is that there isnt blood running in the streets of D.C. over the examples of corruption and intimidation that you listed. We watch in astonishment as the corruption continues unhindered and do nothing except rant from the keyboard.”
If it was 150 years ago there would be.
I think it’s important to remember that these individuals were not dead Americans only. They were human beings with beating hearts. They had hopes and dreams, plans for the future, they loved and were loved. Now all is gone, their murderers run free and left in the wake are grieving families and friends, never to have that final touch, never to have the chance to say for the last time a simple I love you.
But if you are a journalist like Juan Williams, it’s okay to smile and laugh while you are doing your absolute best to discredit anyone who dares call a democrat’s actions into question. Or if you’re that idiot liberal dem, you can callously say that death is a part of life. Of course we all know the truth; if this was a republican administration, all hell would be breaking loose.
The non-action and those of journalists like Juan Williams over Bengazi is to me an attack on us all. Right now as I write this, journalists on the radio are referring to the whistleblowers as so-called whistleblowers. As I said all of us are under attack. This is more than a culture war. Those dead Americans could be us next.
I wish I could write more eloquently this morning, I’m just so tired of the corrupt journalistic bias when it comes to their political allies and the attack on those of us who call them out for it.
What conspiracy theory? Everybody knows what actually happened. We’re dealing with facts, not theories.
Actually, as the WHISTLEBLOWERS testified, Hillary did answer the phone at 2:00 AM.

AND how do we SPELL THAT, BOYS and GIRLS ??????
Not completely true.
Yes, everyone outside the US knows exactly what happened. So do most Freepers.
But that still leaves at least half the population of the US, if not more.
he Damning Dozen: Twelve Revelations from the Benghazi Hearings ( Good Intro )
I think it might be very helpful for those plowing thru so much info.....
“...Hillary did answer the phone at 2:00 AM.”
And her response was satisfactory?
Or did she just say “wrong number” and hang up?
I believe it was 2 AM Benghazi time... I could be wrong, but that’s the impression I got from the hearings.
Come to think of it, you must be correct.
Greg Hicks said that all references he would be making were in Benghazi local time.
Thanks to user BOOTLESS for catching this.
I was wrong. Greg Hicks said 2:00AM, which was the time in Benghazi.
I apologize for misleading any readers.
