CBS released information on the Benghazi 9-11 massacre today that could potentially bring down the Obama Administration.
Buried in their report (down in paragraph eight) CBS reported, “Throughout the night, sources say Americans on the ground in Libya at times felt helpless and abandoned… But they were told immediate help wasn’t available.” But, counterterrorism sources and internal emails reviewed by CBS News express frustration that key responders were ready to deploy, but were not called upon to help. CBS reported:
Throughout the night, sources say Americans on the ground in Libya at times felt helpless and abandoned.“We relied on Washington for dispassionate assessment,” one eyewitness told CBS News. “Instead, they [Washington officials] were asking us what help we needed. We answered: ‘Send reinforcements!’ ”
But they were told immediate help wasn’t available.
Embassy personnel say they repeatedly asked the Defense Attache on site in Tripoli for military assistance.
“Isn’t there anything available?” one Embassy official says he asked. “But the answer was ‘no.’”
“What about Aviano?” the official pressed, referencing the NATO air base with US assets in northeastern Italy. “No,” was the answer.
Two of the four Americans killed that night died hours after the first attack began…

This regime will throw some low-level SOS types under the bus, but this Senate will NEVER vote to have Obama removed from office. Democrats would much sooner Gosnell their own young before harming the political future of a fellow traveler.
If I had to guess, I would say yes. Hillary could not destroy Obama with what she knew about him back in 2008 because he was The Messiah of Democrat Party. She'd have destroyed herself in the process. So she went with "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" to bide time. Now that Obama is beginning to tarnish, she can start leaking what she knows.
CBS is publishing this so that by the time we have testimony on Wednesday it will all then be “....old news”.

=> “Let’s be clear...Benghazi was a long time ago.” -Carney
=>. “It’s the new normal.”
I’m trying not to get too worked up over this... were these individuals’ testimonies authorized by the regime? If so, it all may amount to an intentional fizzle on the lines of Clinton’s ballyhooed “bombastic and contentious” interview with Ken Starr over Monicagate... remember that one? The reports of Clinton storming out the door?

His handlers are not stupid but they are wrong. He is stupid. He’s a hired hand. Yassr Arafat was also a hired hand ~ he had all sorts of things attributed to him that he couldn’t possibly have thought up.
I'm having second thoughts on that thought.
People used to say that Republicans fight by the Marquess of Queensberry Rules while Democrats fight by Fight Club rules.
Now I think that Republicans fight by Wii rules (a cartoon opponent) while Democrats throw real punches back.
Clinton probably thought that she was fighting a fair fight against Obama, while Obama was fighting Fight Club rules at her.
Clinton was rightfully ahead in the election until the caucuses (which she strategically ignored), and then lost with the fight over the super-delegates who turned on her.
That year, there was the whole controversay around the super-delegates, party insiders who could essentially throw the nomination one way or the other regardless of how the primary votes went. I was surprised that she didn't fight harder, given that the Clinton's owned the party and Obama had no outside organization to draw on, given what people said about his ability to put an administration together without knowing anybody personally.
