Let’s outsource the military period. I mean, really, why sign up to defend what corporations are busy sending overseas, to the cheers of the free trade peanut gallery?

If there’s no need for economic patriotism, then there’s no need for patriotism of any kind.

I’ve got a better idea: let’s combine the the weakest strawman arguments we can, and attribute them to our opponents? It would be much more efficient.

Huh, hadn't realized there were so many kinds of patriotism but heck, learn something new everyday. 

So as long as we're talking about 'economic patriotism', how about we first start showing a little 'honest patriotism'.  After all, so much of what people are calling their patriotism here is patently dishonest.  Next we can all get together on moral patriotism, and then sane patriotism...
