The GOP needs to stop with the fantasy scenarios and get down to the very serious work of trying to win governorships and Congressional races. The White House isn’t in the cards anymore.
If the GOP 'leadership' continues on its current path that's probably true, but if they'd end the pandering to groups and start presenting consistent and principled policies to everyone, they might get back in the WH. And, of course, an intelligent and appealing candidate would help.

So, how is the White House not in the cards? 4% of the white vote is an insurmountable goal?
