If I remember correctly, law enforcement wasn’t rousting residents, imposing defacto martial law for just 2 bombers, they did this AFTER a LEO was murdered. Killing civilians-bad, killing a LEO—VERY bad. Police have the right to enter residencies in ‘hot pursuit’ or with strong suspicion minus a warrant, but to enter on a ‘guess’ or a ‘might be’ violates the whole principal of the 4th Amendment. I don’t give a damn if the ‘majority’ are OK with ‘grey area’ violations. The Constitution and Bill of Rights are there for the protection of all but especially the ‘minority’. But after being ‘rights raped’ the people cheered those who did it so I guess it’s all good. One other point, the FBI had known about the brothers since at least 2011, possibly since 2009. So when the post-bombing photos came out, no one from the FBI knew who these guys were? Really? Why didn’t the authorities shut down the area where the brothers lived/hung out? After all the younger one was reportedly seen partying and working out in his ‘hood. Are the FBI that incompetent??

I've known some. I'd say restricted instead of incompentent.

They are driven by chain of command and aren't big on open-source problem solving.
