Climate change will lead poor women to opt for "sex work, transactional sex, and early marriage" warns a resolution proposed last week in Congress.
Introduced by a group of Democrats, the resolution calls on both the House and Senate to recognize how women will be disproportionately affected by global warming.
Women are "the first to feel the immediate and adverse effects of social environmental and economic stress on their families and communities," the document states, adding that 60 to 80 percent of farmers in developing countries are women.
It points to a United Nations report that estimates 3 billion more people might spiral into extreme poverty if governments don't take coordinated action.
Women, it says, will also feel the brunt of a harsher climate if it brings on increased migration, refugee crises and conflicts over food and water.
If a food crisis emerges, it says women may be drawn to sex work that would put them at risk for HIV, sexually transmitted diseases and unplanned pregnancy.

Well, that opens up several possibilities for me...
In many if not most human societies down through history, they would have been more or less correct.
Women had very limited ways of making a living, and a great many were indeed forced into prostitution by the other option being starvation.
Under the Taliban, for instance, and in other rigidly traditional Muslim societies, prostitution is pretty much the only option for a widow or orphan.
Obamacare and the other disastrous democrat rat policies that are wrecking the economy will lead to people going into prostitution.

Looks like Barbara Lee is Hank (Guam is Capsizing) Johnson’s “sister.” This is our Black Babs (from Berzerkley) as opposed to the Capo Jew (aka Babs “Call Me Senator” Brooklyn Transplant) over in Marin County. Thank the Lord there are hills between where we live and Berzerkley. The effluent has to “leak over” to reach us. FYI Barbara Lee came to California from El Paso, TX, so she’s another “transplant.” California was a nice place. We should not have let this trash in in the first place. But just think you CA bashers, this woman’s children may have the idea of moving to where you live.
