Today I was able to meet “Misha,” whose real name is Mikhail Allakhverdov. Having been referred by a family in Boston that was close to the Tsarnaevs, I found Allakverdov at his home in Rhode Island, in a lower middle class neighborhood, where he lives in modest, tidy apartment with his elderly parents. He confirmed he was a convert to Islam and that he had known Tamerlan Tsarnaev, but he flatly denied any part in the bombings. “I wasn’t his teacher. If I had been his teacher, I would have made sure he never did anything like this,” Allakhverdov said.
A thirty-nine-year-old man of Armenian-Ukrainian descent, Allakhverdov is of medium height and has a thin, reddish-blond beard. When I arrived he was wearing a green and white short-sleeve football jersey and pajama pants. Along with his parents, his American girlfriend was there, and we sat together in a tiny living room that abuts the family kitchen.

Only problem with his story is he is reportedly wanted by the FBI on an ‘unrelated charge’. Hot checks, what?

Mike Wheeler is ringing a left-wing bell.... that’s where he ‘got’ his nickname from.

Number 1 and 2 sought out how they could pull of these bombings, they had their motives directly from Islamic teachings and the Koran. Both of which require death to those who follow it.
....I believe his mother was fully aware of the extremes her son had gone to and she herself as well... she did nothing to stop him.
The Internet was their source to seek out what they decided to do...and to obtain the “false courage” they needed to carry it out thru various Islamic teachers they sought.
Most likely others were helpful along the way..but it's questionable ,still, who and what roles they may have paid.
Frankly these two were simply carrying out what Islam teaches them to do as followers of Islam...and what they've been doing for hundreds of years...and this without regret.
Moved to RI in 2010 and says he has had no contact with Tamerlan since.
He declined to describe the nature of his relationship with Tamerlan.
One large discrepancy — Misha said he never met any of Tamerlan’s family members. Tamerlan relative recounted a visit by Misha to Tamerlan’s house, where both mother and father were present.
Maybe misha code name and there is more then one misha?
Dad was irritated with Misha keeping his kid up late all the time and mom defended Misha with ‘it’s good religion”....

Taking this ‘misha’ out of the equation, are you of the belief that these 2 did all of this on their own? No outside influence, aid, funding etc. Just curious.
